Case Study | Scholl

Scholl Scholl

arken created a freestanding unit for Scholl's footwear range, to be placed in independent Pharmacies, the design was heavily based around Scholl's corporate colours and branding, with the emphasis on creating a contemporary display to attract a new and younger market.

This premium brand was selling a product that aimed to be fashionable and provide health benefits. Leaders in this niche market Scholl wanted to maintain this position.

The clear acrylic shelves for each individual shoe allowed the shoes to be viewed from all angles, including the soles, maximising the potential of their unique designs in store. This visibility being an element reflected on their website, showing each design from five different angles.

Overall, the display had a high quality yet contemporary feel, perfect for Scholl's positioning in the market.

A mirror was situated at the base of the unit for the customer to examine the shoes when trying them on; a practical feature that also created an element of theatre when customers walked past the unit in store. The units exceeded sales expectations such that a new mini version was also created, perfect for those stores with limited footprint and a lower stock requirement.
